hood latch problem/window track

wats up ctvtec i have a 2000 civic and i have a bad knocking/ rattleing sound coming from the hood latch, when its pushed down the rattling stops, pretty sure i need a hood latch but any other ideas what it might be? and how easy/ hard it will be...
also i have the common window track problem as do alot of other civics, can someone please tell me what part of that usually needs to be replaced??

try adjusting the hood bump stops before you go crazy replacing the latch

ya on the radiator support. you can screw them up and down to adjust tension on them. so just bring them up enough to put some tension on your hood and see if the rattle goes away. if it does then you just saved yourself a headache.

its the rubber gasket thing... its all crimped up at the top prolly.

yea it is but it got like that because of them not rolling up str8 i heard it might be the regulator? idk
