Connecticut law about driving with no hood

Can anyone find the statute / law where it proves you can drive without a hood on your vehicle? Just for future sake (in case a cop decides to pull me over).

there is no law about!!! i got busted for it few years back and fought it and there is no law stateing you need a hood. you need a battery hold down you can have the fan exposted cop said my car was not safe for the road because i had a roll cage and no hood gave me like 400$ ticket i fought it and i know a lawyer very well old friends and he looked deep in to it and there is nothing they can do about it they can ticket you and you can fight it and you will win!

i got pulled over off the berlin turnpike in my old em1 wothout my hood on and they didnt say anything... but it was probably because they were more concerned about the smelll in my car lol

They pull you over, with no hood, just do like I did (but dont get smart, got me put in hand cuffs lol)

Told the cop my hood latch was broke, and I said, would you like your car's hood held down with bungee cords and rope ? I took it off so when I reach high way speeds it dont come up, smash my window, and hit the moron behind me who was riding too close..WITH A SMILE =)

I drive with no hood whenever its nice out, they don't say anything any more !
