what can i do to fight it.?

Take ur muffler off at a shop so you get a receipt, take a picture and bring that all to court...worked for me

for the tints they suppose to have some type of tester to see if there legal or not

write up a bill of sale.....all legit and tell em u sold it....name of buyer dont matter.....it works everytime for me matter of fact i was in court yesterday and i did just that!....oh and make sure u bring a copy not the original....put an out of state address and random name.....they never check trust me.

worse case scenario, you go to court, plead guilty, get an infraction on your driving record, and theyll more than likely cut the price of the ticket in half.....but i would try the other options first. this is a last resort

appeal it def... u gonna get a court appaerance... deny deny deny... worse cmes 2 worse.. u gonna hav to pay have tha price or liik 50 bucks or suttin.. you dont have to go and waste money takin the muffler on and off.. fuck that shit... just appeal it go to court pay tha 50 bucks and get on with your life... lol simple as that... its not a major moving violation or nuttin its just a muffler...

youre fucked, probably going to be in jail for 10yrs..

but when i got one (for $289 from some dickhead state cops) i just took it to monro, had the stock one put on and brought the receipt and told them yeah it was improper at the time but i got it put to normal and they said okay youre good.
