d15b in 2000 ek

so i jus finish putting in a jdm d15b in my girls car and i forgot that the crank senor goes in a different place now do i just take the timing belt cover and see if i can put the crank senor from the 2000 motor into the d15b or would it be easier bypassing it ? please let me know asap need the car on the road !
