Actually to correct u seanjohn, the first thing that should be done is a proper alarm. Theives don't bother with it because it draws way too much attention, especially in a quiet neighborhood. A well installed alarm done right and hidden how it's supposed to be will be the best anti theft possible trust me. I install alarms and know the proper way to doing them along with a select few other members on here. Don't let your best friend that "thinks" he can do it. Before you go putting wheels or HIDs, or music or any goodies, do a proper alarm and regy and insure your car. Other then that let keep real facts and advice on this thread

Let's keep it real, PEOPLE stop and think before you do stuff. U just bought a fresh eg coupe bone stock, and have $400 left over. Don't go buy a fucking pair of rotas! Buy a alarm and sleep better at night so u can go to work that week and get those rotas next week. It's all the young minded kids on this site that ruin it for the real enthusiast. I've been in the game since I was 15, and I've lived in Hartford my whole life. Every single one of my cars have had an alarm and nothing els.

the first thing you should do when you get a car is invest in security, forget the rotas and tow hooks lol. i find it stupid when people put $ into their cars and dont put money into security and then their shit gets stolen they wonder why.

X2 I install alarms for a living n haven't had a vehicle stolen or even touched after my installs,ppl on here complain about prices to much to see the true value of it.. Example: they complain that 350$ for a viper alarm is 2 much then cry wen there 4000$ car is gone the next morning...but then again they had no problem spending 400$ on curbed wheels smh....

Yes invest in security first! Even if your Honda/Acura is auto, cause thieves will take anything to use or make a buck on. When i first bought my AUTO EJ1 the first thing i did after a couple days of purchasing the Coupe was put an alarm/starter/kill switch system.
