  • How to avoid thieves a.k.a. haters/bums

Couldn't help but feel like I needed to make a thread about this. Might be that someone did this before but it needs to be done again. Every week I see a new thread about a stolen Honda and it makes me sick. But even tho we all hate thieves the fact is, these hatin ass, bum ass Niggas will always be around cuz they broke and lazy and got nothing better to do wit their sad existence. So let's start wit the basics:
    1. First things first ppl, BEFORE U BUY MODS, GET A DAMN ALARM. I sugest a decent alarm and add an extra siren and even have it connected to your horn and raise the shock sensors sensitivity. Kill switches are also a great easy and inexpensive way to secure your whip. You can do fuel cut, ignition cut, or complete power cut. But be creative in where n how u do the switch. Billy clubs can be cut, but anything that slows a thief down will make him not wannaf steal ur car for fear of getting caught. Wheel boots work and prevent your wheels from being stolen and car from being tow stolen.
    2. DO NOT POST PICS OF YOUR LICENSE PLATE. thieves are bums that sit at their stolen computers all day and they do know how to track down your adress by your plates.
    3. Beware of lurkers. Lurkers on ctv don't post or comment, they read thru threads looking for phone numbers, plates, locations or personal information u post to try n track u down where u are from. To avoid this, ask that ppl pm you. Don't jus put your number out there. Take pics in discreet locations and remove your plates.
    4. If your are trading or selling, do not have anyone meet you at your house. They may not be the thieves, but they have a friend who is and they will tell him your address and you WILL GET GOT. Meet ppl at public places, gas stations, parking lots that are not near your house. ALSO, never give out your adress over phone, thru text or a pm. They will not show up to make the trade/sale but soon after will come for your car.
    5. Keep an eye in your rearview mirror. Thieves will follow u in a hooptie or non Honda car to see where u live or where u work .

This is all I got for now, but lock your cars up. The more security options u have the better. For example, its better to have an alarm, kill switch, and wheel boot than to jus have a regular alarm. Thieves are persistent, but lazy and cowards.

Everything sounds nice but the first thing u should do isn't get a alarm there is many ways to get around that u can never cover ur plate since it is required by law to have it on ur car if they see ur driving ur hit no matter what also kill switches is easy to figure out cause once they crack ur ignition nd it don't turn over that's the next thing there looking for cause they were quite getting into the car so plenty time to check taking out ur ecu is a plus or a ignition lock like (car lock) is a plus its basically a imobilizer they seem to work the best imho hope I contributed or just pull ur steering wheel everytime u get out of the car at a mall or something even so they will just take ur plate #

Like I said the more u have the better. Thieves want an easy target. Don't be an easy target

Actually to correct u seanjohn, the first thing that should be done is a proper alarm. Theives don't bother with it because it draws way too much attention, especially in a quiet neighborhood. A well installed alarm done right and hidden how it's supposed to be will be the best anti theft possible trust me. I install alarms and know the proper way to doing them along with a select few other members on here. Don't let your best friend that "thinks" he can do it. Before you go putting wheels or HIDs, or music or any goodies, do a proper alarm and regy and insure your car. Other then that let keep real facts and advice on this thread

My thread was about how to prevent theft. So if your all about negativity why don't u go make a thread about it. These are facts, yes shit gets stolen regardless but bottom line is, its better to have then not to have. So let's keep the facts and ignore negative Nancy a.k.a Seanjdmjohn
