if your using a router turn off the router after you hook up the ps3 for a min then turn it back on and try

Did you update it, I think you gotta install the update's before you can go on the net. A friend of mine did it for me when I got mine, I he just went to some menu and all of a sudden it started loading, I asked em what he did and he said don't worry about it, lol.

I think it's in the setup menu.

it should come with a game put that game on because it has an update on it..the connec the ether net cable with the cable modem turn off then turn it back on and go all the way to the bottom in the settings and you will find internet connection test...it should say succeeded and you can sigh on to the internet..

try both, but I think he means reset the cable modem, so turn the cable modem off. If you have a router like they said before I'd reset the router first.
