Polished J-MAGS ?

I got sum jmags dat had a shit load of curb rash so i re polished dem but I herd yu can clear coat polished rims but idk wat is better un clear coated polished rims or clear coated polish Any suggestions .???

clean em up real good with mothers n then spray em a bit with clear coat so u dnt have to keep on polishin them all the time thats wat i would do
