Ipad2 oem screen replacement?!

Long story short i broke an ipad2 lol now i own it. Id like to get the screen replaced it still functions fine and isnt that bad blah blah.

since i want to get it replaced i was wondering if theres anywhere to order different color screen. obviously theres black and white covers but i want something different since im spending the money.

any links are appreciated, also any recommended places to do the replacement.

eBay will most likely be the cheapest ..you will also need a LCD screen plus the outer screen,I believe. I can't say that I have had horrible experiences on eBay.I usually have decent transactions

I found the parts on eBay. Maybe I'll just bring it to apple and have them do
It and have it changed to white

called apple and even though they "DO NOT" offer an accidental warreny they told me to bring it in and they might fix it. i've got faith cuz 15 minutes after i broke it i spent $540 on a new one haha.

from my experiences with apple, and knowing a few people that work in their retail stores, their warranty claims are flexible.

a lot of it has to do with how they feel toward your situation. if they feel bad for you, or you make a solid sob story (just bought it 3 days ago, dropped it, life is ruined) they are more likely to take care of you.

go in there, be super friendly, have the attitude that you don't expect them to fix it but are thankful for any help they can offer, and see where it takes you.

i bet they either fix/exchange it for free, or replace the screen for a minimal (prob like $200) charge. either way, it's worth a shot at the very least

i dont think im brave enough to try that on my own though i feel like id break it lol then be out all of the money. depending on what apple says when i bring it to them ill check my options afterwards.

just explain to them that one of their other products broke it and you feel ripped off. And think it was a scam.
