possibly buyin an h22a

so my boys got a jdm h22 thats got 133k on it and it does not have a tranny. he offered it to me for 400$. as far as i know the motor was still runnin, he was gonna throw it in his lude. i know nothing about h series so i was wonderin if you guys think this is a good deal, and should i actually invest in this and throw it in my hatch? my sisters got an h22a in her hatch and that thing rips so now shes got me on H swaps lol. please leave feed back!!

honestly just go to the depot and get a F20 bluetop for $500 and atleast you know its warrantied.

It's in nj but honestly h is better the f20 is a weaker motor in my opinion and much harder to find aftermarket performance parts. Imho I would buy the h22 that's a good price and they put out power out the door my old one made 175 Whp. With just headers. I just picked up another one to build for boost I love H!!!!! But then again all I can do is f or h since I have an accord but that's just my .02

Yea I just picked up an a4 now I'm not 100% sure on this but I honestly dnt think it makes a difference if your going to do a full build. I know stock the jdm h22 puts out better numbers not by much. The Injectors on the jdm h22 are bigger. I'm ripping mine about and nothing will be left stock other than the crankshaft and other small shit but if you want to just buy one and drop it in I would wait and get a jdm h22

I like h series they go hard. Also got a boy that got a h23a blue top 4 sale 850 fresh of jdm depot 45-75 xxx miles hasn't even thru it in a car you'll b ripping by ur sister hatchy lol.

Id go franki f22 block h22 head makes a g22 k24 piston stock internals with headers intake clutch and a tune iv seen make about 225 whp with stock everthing else
