need help with emissions

i hav a built tuned motor and i didnt pass emmission,, i hav 440 cc injectors and a ebay test pipe... you think its the tuned comp dat it is running soo rich or the test pipe?? any body got ne feedback to pass emissions... he said i was running too rich

Test pipe. Running rich is not a big deal. its no2 that the cat filters. If your obd1 or obd0 just get a cat for the test. If your obd2 then it might be the tune.

u think i culd pass wit tha test pipe.. and just throw in a stock ecu..

or just have the person that tuned u lean out the car for emissions then put it back simple as that. we do it at the shop all the time for ppl that we tune. and we charge the ppl for that that we didnt tune

If your not obd2 there's a 99% chance u will need a cat for the test.

Tell your tuner to lean out part throttle at 30 mph in 3 gear at 16-10 inches of vacumn while your cruising. We do it on our dyno. No cat and 14.7 a/f ratio should go right thru.

Test pipe could be keeping your no2 above 2500, it happened to me, just by a catalytic converter and you'll pass.

how will u loose ur tune. just tell ur tuner to do it and put it back lol unless u wanna get a cat put it on and still might fail

put a cat on the car- that alone will fail a visual inspection and cause you to fail emissions. throw new plugs in it, put some stock injectors in for the test, and make sure the cat is good and hot (drive around for a while before going to the test).

i think a cat should b able to solve ur problem. my eg b20 passed the other and it wasn't suppose to. some people who do emissions do a half ass job. i think the place u go and the person depends to. the guy that did my shit was a honda lover too so he helped me the fuck out

Pay the person $25 to pass u lol
