  • Engine Rebuild but VSS stopped working.

    I have a EG GSR swap. And IT needed a rebuild; But Now thats its done my VSS isnt working. I have the Denso one; but its only 4 months old; ne ideas???? The mechanik said he didnt touch it.

      Try plugging it in!! Lol just make sure it's plugged in all the way 1st

        I tried but the thing is only 3 months old WTF; it worked fine when I dropped the car Off; Can u pull them Out N reset how they sit??? or I canatleast make sure the clip didnt like pop off. Hey do you guys know a good brand VSS that is reliable unlike the DENSO????

          Possibly have spilled coolant on it when removing the motor?

            They DEF. DId. But they took care of me. im about to just buy another one; WHATS A GOOD VSS FOR THE B16 TRANNY???

              DENSO VSS's are fine you just need to keep them from getting crushed or soaked with coolant or they'll shit out. Same applies for every brand though its a sensor which is read through electricity. So if it gets crushed and can't make a good connection or gets wet and shorts out it obviously won't work anymore.

                I figure it Got Wet then; cuz its not crushed. i actually mite have a warranty on it. I was just trying to upgrade the part So Id Never have to worry about it again. Thanks for the Clarification on things bro....
