              1) Turn the a/c on w/ the motor running
              2) visually inspect the a/c pulley.
              3) If it's not spinning the compressor and or pulley might be seized

If it is indeed seized you can get a belt to by pass it or you can just swap it out altogether, your choice.

lol did it work when you had it charged?

                cheack fuse? cheack the relay?

if it did not turn on could be low on freon and or leaked out or the fuse to ingage the compressor could be blow or a bad relay cheack them all
                RIP Nick

check fuses under the dash and under the hood. if they all good then unplug the red wire from the compressor and with the car running put 12v on the wire and see if that plate moves if it does then plug it back in and it means ur low on freon, if it dont go on then its broken. if u charged it a week ago and ur low then u proly got a leak

Sorry if i'm thread jacking but i went to Meineke today and paid $300 on "repairing" my a/c and when i left their shop it was working.

1 1/2 hour later i turn it back on and is throwing hot air again, do you or any one know what it may be?

This is what i got charge for at Meineke: a/c valve repair kit $32.85, a/c evacuation, vacuum, recharge $149.95 and labor $89. Plus tax on top of all that.

wow you get robbed but any way if it worked when you left the good chance you had a big leak in the system and it all leaked out on you. you need to have ti looked at and see if there is any feron left in the system that will tell you if there is a leak or not...... or you to autozone and buy a can of feron and put it in and if it works then you have a leak. our shop charges 100 bucks to do the a/c evacuation vacume and recharge and if you need any other parts that cost more but .. i bet you have a leak
