    correct!

    All OEM HID's are 4300K.
The color you see is from the Ion Lens and the way the glass is cut.
The small ripple in the lens reflacts the light causeing it to put out blue and purple light when viewed from angles.

this is the same for all Bimmers, Audis, and Mercs.

Remember, that car companies dont care about style when it comes to headlights. Its all function in that department. HID's that burn at 4300K are proven to have more visable light output.

The only thing that would make a 4300K HID brighter is ordering it in 55w compared to 35w.

so you want purple lights huh?

                    okay......

                    READ MY ABOVE POST!

If you want your lights to be brighter then you want anything from 4300K to 6000K.

35w is bright but you can get brighter if you get 55w lights.

heres a link to a vendor who offers both at GREAT prices.

check out their gallery for some great pics

FYI, HIDs behind fluted lenses are gonna cause a shitty beam pattern. try and sand the inside of the lights flat so you get a better beam pattern, and don't blind the hell outta everyone.
