Im throwing up a COde 14 EACV valve N a code 3 for a map sensor. But heres My Question. I have a EG with a GSR swap pretty Darn Stock. Has Ne 1 had this problem??? When I go into V tec the CEL goes on; then I restart the car N it is off... So confused Ne insight would be Great. IT wasnt Doing this before; I dont Believe. And It seems Im burning more Oil then Normal....

wel if you have an eg, then that means the port to read codes is obd1, if u know how to read a cel on obd1 then great, if not, you can use a paper clip, bend it into a v shape so that you have 2 matching end, and stuff them in there so that theyre making contact , and leave it in there, turn the key off and back on and see if it turns the cel off. if not lmk

well how stock is your swap? ask yourself these questions...are you also running the stock obd1 gsr ecu, does it have the stock gs-r manifold? if so your golden and the codes its throwing probly means there is somthin wrong with those actual sensors....if you have the stock manifold and the ecu is diff like a b16 or somethin then u have a problem...here is the thing a gsr manifold needs a gsr ecu if ur runnin stock and vise versa...the reason that i ask is becus both codes u got are sensors located on the manifold...an easy fix would be to get the correct combo or have a p28 chipped towork your motor. yes i have had this issue in the past andthere are numorous possibilities so id have to see it and have more info....if u really want to talk bout the prob my number is 203 526 6678 cus i got too much info in my head to write here..lol oh yeh another possibility is that the ecu that u have already has a chip that uses the cel as a shift light...i had 1 that did that...u never kno we all buy and trade parts so much u might have thought the ecu was stock but its not...anyway hit me up wenever good luck

Yes My Whole setup that was mentioned is stock; GSR Engine;B18c1 bottom end/ top end and intake mani; GSR stock ECU. I also gave it thought that they are both located on the intake mani;Thats why I got a feeling its something else; NOT the parts. I jus fixed my VSS 2 weeks ago N No Codes then.......
I got it plugged into the throttle body...
