insurance policy ?

Wazup i got to a 3 car accident last week, were 2 car were totaled an mines was just damaged on the quarter panel,tailight an bumper (nothing major ill put pics of it tomorrow morning)... I called the insurance of the guy that hit my car an they said that they wont pay for it since they got it pay 8,000 in damage to the other car that was totaled, an that they wont coverage my damages.... they gave me two choices for me to pay the expensive out of my pocket, but they wont refund me all my money back, the other choice was to wait 3 to 5 months for them to send me a check ... what u should i do bout it...should i get a lawyer or what any suggestion ?

LAWYER!!!! thats where its at. they tryin to play u. If it was only that other guys fault, the ins HAS TO cover BOTH of you. I'd call ur ins., see wat they say. Do u have collision?? that is the big ??

the car its under my grandfathers name ill check tomorrow when i see him...im bout to go tomorrow an talk to my insurace i got it go to a shop to get a quote...

thats so illegal lmfao they cant say no.....call them and tear the roof off that place ask to speak the the manager then his boos then his boss and so on till you get your money. threaten them with a law suit and they will cave

Depending on your insurance plan (liability or full coverage) then they don't have to fix your car. If I'm reading the story wrong, then the person that hit your quarter panel has to use there insurance to fix the damage that they did.. Or if it was you that caused the damage and if you have liability then your plan only covers to fix what ever you hit and doesn't cover you. But if you got full coverage then they should take care of both partys that was in the accident.
