HID question

got pulled ofer the other day for having blue headlights (9000k).... i can jus buy some lower heat bulbs like 6000k n not have to change any ballasts or anything right? i need to pass inspection by may 4th and dont really feel like removing my HID right now. im just looking for white bulbs now that i cant rock my blues no more. LMK ASAP

get 5k bulbs. all you have to do is change the bulb. all ballast are the same.

If I was you tho i'd put regular bulbs back in for inspection.

not all ballest are the same there are 35watt ballast and 55watt ballast. and getting 6000k bulbs are still illegal and won't pass inspection if they are strict on that kind of thing. just put the stock bulbs back in it takes a whole ten minutes. how much was the ticket for ???

Depending on your car, if hids were not equipped in your car from factory then your going to fail inspection! Best bet is not be lazy and put the regular low beam bulbs back. But hey, it's your car and your motivation to do it. Good luck.

cops are startin to crack down on the hid bs....just rock yellows they are legit id just cary this with you print it out thats how my buddy got off had this wit him

i got 6k in my jeep and i havent gotten pulled over.....but then again its not a honda lol... i was in my civic and got pulled over for my exhaust leaving a parking lot taking it easy cuz i saw the cop behind me...like he was waiting in the parkinglot for me to leave when i got to my car..n my shits all legit he just wanted to give someone a hardtime i guess
