I got a set of hxs thy are painted flat black I wanna paint them & chrome the lip but irk if I can just polish the lip wit striper & sand paper lol lmk thanks

yea sand it down with like 1500 or 2000 and rubbing compound and be ready to sit there rubbing for a gooodddddd minute

Just tape off where your not gonna polish really good, use masking tape

aircraft stripper its 8$ at discount then use 800 depends on how rough they are and work your way up i just finished up my rims today with my 4 y/o son,we sanded them down then i buffed them out with my buffer/polisher...

I get the consept my & my bro had done em to all types of rims from17 to my old GSRs i just didnt kno if the metal from the HXs would polish like the other OEM rims
