ticket for having fog lights on??? YEP

the other night i was driving around and i got pulled. i was expecting a muffler ticket but the cop gave me a fog light ticket. he said that its illegal to use fog lights when there is no fog/rain/etc. REALLY THo? pull me just for that? should i fight it or pay the hefty 35 bucks?

btw: i have yellow HIDS if anyone wants to know.

I always fight everything. I guess it's just me. But think about it. I highly doubt it will make it to court but if it does think about how stupid everything will sound..u will be there explaining on how u received a ticket for FACTORY light bulbs in your fog lights. In 7+ years of driving, I have NEVER gotten a fog light ticket... Think about it. All the new cars have fog lights that kick right on when u turn the lights on.. I rock my shits EVERY night, even if it isnt precipitating. Helps me see better. Just pay the 35 bux..

aftermarket hids are not suppost to be on cars that didnt have the stock , but seems like he was just being a dick i would try to fight it worst case u just have to pay $35. bc it can happen again and again then its $70 $105 , fuck that. gl.
