So for the second time being pulled over this weekend I finally got a warning for my exhaust. The ticket says I need to send the DMV proof (receipt) that I have had it put back to stock. If anyone one owns a shop, works at a shop, or knows someone that can make me a receipt in the next 20 days that says they switched it I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

dat would be pretty hard but worth the try cuz they inspect ur car right there and then sign the warnin paper (the pink paper) then u have to mail dat. well atleast dats wat i had to do. i dont know if theres other way, i got pulled over for my exhaust and when i took it to the dmv them mudafvckers inspected my whole car i had to bring it back like 3 times for stupid shyts... g/l

Well, if thats the case my car will be up for sale sooner then I thought. There is no way I could have my car inspected by the DMV and ever be able to drive it away legally.

when i got pulled over for my HIDs i just needed the shop to sign the paper not the dmv..... so if you can find shop that hook you up have them sign the pink paper then send the pink paper out because it goes to wethersfield dmv not the one in your city and i rocked my HIDs till i sold them..... shop manager needs to sign paper and put down there shop ID and then your good to go

Jay what did u get a improper muffler ticket?

i got one of those on the very last tuesdays @ tuesdays gtg i had, when i wasnt even in my car and it wasnt even running:mad:

just go buy a muffler from carquest copy the recepit show dmv, then return the muffler.

i went to court and was liek its 48state legal she said got proof i was like ughhhhh.... no receipts? ugh.....

"If DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT" is checked, the-law requires that the defects be corrected. Proof of repairs must be submitted to the DMV within 20 days"

But "DEFECTED EQUIPMENT" isn't checked, he only checked the box next to Exhaust System". Is this just a warning? I usually just get regular tickets, never got one of these warning things before.

yea its a warning but you need to fix it or they will give you a ticket or suspend your license

True, but I put the car away in like a month and you know I barley drive it. I think they were just out hunting cause of the holiday weekend. I pass those cops on main street by the mall 6 times a day.

Yeah, it's hard to tell the cops that it's loud cause it has to be. I would love to have 2.75 pipes and have the car sound stock.
