my buddie claims his room mate knows of someone in meridian with a civic but its got a lud type sh drivetrain swap and what not in it.

anyone know of it?

not asking for that person to say yeah its me. just curious if anyone knows if there is such a thing on the streets around here.

I think he is reffering to the Prelude that comes with AWS and swapping everything including the AWS into a civic. And idk if its true but anything can be done/fabricated if you got money and time so who knows..

the ludes with AWS were from the late 80's maybe early 90's i dont think the newer ones had it, even so, theres no point, it only engages at low speeds, imagine all 4 wheels steering at 70mph, yikes

This guy is doing the same thing with a del sol, dropping an h22A turbo in the back of the car, he did some incredible work.

a drivetrain swap is another word for motor swap.

n yea plenty of people do a h22 swap on civics.

'heck people are puttin tl,rsx,v6 motors in civic nowadays. anything is possible

I agree h22 swaps aren't all that uncommon or special. But if it's an sh like he said then that would mean that it has ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System) which mimics the handling of a Rear wheel drive car. That would be interesting & different because it couldnt have been as simple as a h22 swap becasue that system took up space and caused a lot of prelude people to delete it or limit mods.

thats nuts, but I think lovefab already did a MR H22 del sol, either way, just nutty what some people can do, im waiting to see a MR J series vehicle

the lude came aws for all but the years the came with the sohc f22 from 92-96, the 97+ came aws as the sh model and it did work at high speeds it had a highway mod where all 4 wheels turned the same way and a parking mode where the front turn one way and the rear turn the opposite. my buddy was gunna guy a 00 or 01
