thats real bad.. but one thing i've always said is that the street racing in ct is real disorganized especially how it was in hartford for example people dont know how to spectate on the sidewalks especially at the starting lines and damn cars constantly coming through the street the damn wrong way.Where im from those are two things everyone will not do.

the reason being is that these kids just see this thing and love it... i believe even if we got to build a track here in CT to take out drags, tthere is still gonna be the little chumps that wanna prove on their friends. Its sad, and my condolences go out to the family of this child, but at the same time this was something very un-called for.

That's horrible my condolence to his family........ I don't street race just cuz the last time I went to NH I was just watching the cops came me and my fiance were following everyone out of chapel and she says to me get off this guys ass so I do 10 seconds later the guy in front of me gets Tboned. You don't have to be doing anything to be in danger that's why I wanna say lets just take it to the track

well people dont like to take it to the track because on the street every car runs and is supposibly fast. fast crap take you car to the track thats it some street action is ok sometimes to make you feel like you still got a sack but the big dogs prove it at the track but then again can all these supposible fast street cars handle a good wacking at the track or will they just die out doing a burnout wut people need to do is get AAA take there car to the track and watch to see wut they do they might not be happy but thats when you tell yourself you got room for improvement and get your car where you really want it dont try to prove it on the streets every car is fast on the streets.

petitions and writing letters aren't gonna do anything. Noone in the state is gonna approve to build a multi-million dollar track so everyone can go. plus even if they do, people are gonna say i dont wanna pay to run my car and they're still gonna run on the streets. im not saying this to be an ********************* cuz i am one of the *********************s who go to new haven, waterbury, hartford. people who've been around longer than me know this as well that since ct dragway closed years and years ago you dont think that the old school muscle car racers didnt try to get the track reopened? but if they were to open it, organized street racing rates would drop, but it wont completely stop it. my condolences go out to that guy's family.

That's what I'm sayin you serious about racing lets see what you got in a legal safe area and know that there's room for improvement hell I didn't do nearly as good with my car the first time but its a challenge to do better each time and lot better of a rush than running from the cops even if there aint a track in ct go to NY or NJ its a ride but the money you save on tickets you can rent dolly take your car and not worry if it breaks just have a good time and ppl watching can see everything from the bleachers nice and safe. I say we all have a track day nice and safe and some you who never been can see what I'm talking about
