hey whats up lookin for a second opinion in trouble shooting my truck
i let my girl use my truck and she ran down to no gas ..... i got gas and now it will turn and then shut off they said to bleed the gas line of air and i did that with same result .. i noticed while i was bleeding fuel truck would die out any help would be apreicated

iac valve?

its the crank positioning sensor trust same thing happen to my moms 2000 cherokee laredo

i would check fuel pressure ......even though you might get some pressure out the line it might not be enough get a fuel pressure gauge and check it ..........if you spray starting fluid does it stay running

when that same bs happened with my moms jeep i shot some starting fluid and it turned on but only stayed on for like 2 mins and shut off by it self check the lines the rail and everything was good i thought it was the fuel pump but i got under the truck and told my boy to turn the key and i heard the fuel pump working so i checked spark fuel and the fuses ..everything good so i said it has to be the crank senser i bought it installed it and walla shits runs mint!!! so that just wat i went thru so g/l with it bro

simple fix brign it to a shop with the right tools and if they have the right scanner then they can look of crank senser rpm if there is no rpm sowing on the scanner then you need a crank sensor. or if you want to test fuel your self go to advanced auto borrow a fuel presser tester and put it on. also i dont think youhave a v6 jeep since then made a stright six or v8
