  • DIY em1 strut bar on Ej8

    heres a quick DIY to put a Em1 strut bar on a Ej8, 99-00 not sure if it works for the 96-98

    :::Materials:::
    4 bolts
    4 screws
    drill bit
    drill
    em1 strut bar
    sharpie

    Step 1
    First thing u want to do is mock up the strut bar on the car , i know on the 99-00 there are oval spots already there

    Step 2
    Mark the 4 spot u will be drilling with a sharpie , my car is black so i used silver

    Step 3
    Drill out the 4 spot you marked

    Step 4
    Take the 4 screws and push them from the wheel well up, My wheels is pretty tucked so i had to jack the car up to get under there

    Step 5
    Now that all the bolts are in just tighten ever thing down and your done

                      I have mine mounted but i would spend the money on getting the orginal studs and nuts from honda. thats how mine is and it doesnt looked hacked at all
