  • Help guys!!

    Well i got a gsr swap with a rod bearing i was told idk if its true but i wanna kno for sure nd hopefully u guys can help... The motor was knocking but not up top it was at the bottom nd the car turned on everytime like nothing but u know when the car revs a lil higher right when u turn on nd there it makes the noise nd then when it idles normal it only does it real minimum but if u rev it more then 1.5k it knocks nd it knocks the higher u rev i was thinking it was the rod bearings nd if u guys think it can be saved..

        Maybe idk wouldnt it not turn on everytime if the crank was fucked up?

            no. it can turn on fine. But once it spins the bearing and you keep it running. It will score the crank/rod. And if you've sat their reving it up and stuff to hear it knock then it's shot prolly.

              X2! Crank journals are fuckkkkkkedd, rod knocks usually won't knock at idle very faint once u rev it up it wil sound like a frapping noise very distinct

                I havnt moved it or nothing it happend at first at my house nd parked it quick then my popz was gunna work on it so i brought him to see what was wrong with it but it was only like 2 secs turned on nd he told me it was the rod bearings maybe the crank but he sed most likely bearings and thts it nd hes been working with hondas since i was born lol

                    Another question is would the walls on my block would get fucked up or anything else but the pistons,rods,crank,bearings is okay cause ima replace those. I just wanted the block to be okay u think so?

                        Block should be fine. Make sure you replace your oil pump.
