Milford (WTNH) _ Grief counselors will be at Jonathon Law high School today after a crash Monday night killed two teenagers.
Killed in the crash were Shawn Foley, 17, and Jonathan Dolceacqua, 18, were pronounced dead at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Each celebrated a birthday just days ago.
Also hospitalized is Michael Vicino, 16.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Police say Foley, the driver of the Red Nissan, was passing another car on the ring road around the mall when it crashed into a utility pole.
After other deadly crashes in Bristol and Wolcott, Gov. Jodi Rell created a Teen Driving Task Force to look at ways to make teens more safe behind the wheel. A second public forum for the task force is scheduled to meet at Hill Regional High School in New Haven Wednesday night.

i dunno why these kids insists on racing on the streets so carelessly.. i mean if its that serious and there is tracks near.. even tho its bad.. its less risky to do a highway pull in the midnight to early morning... i mean thats bad enough u know.. but just to know that ur car is faster by pulling bullshit like this aint worth it... the kid is seventeen and i dont know him personally.. but ive been driving since 12, some ppeople never drive til they actually get their license, TEENAGE DRIVERS ARE INEXPERIENCED. i never call myself a professional driver regardless of anything. so why risk it if nothing is going to come of it. all it does now is enforce stricter laws, brings out more police attention to anyone with a car that looks remotely close to being fast and the worst of all.. raise insurance... just because of what happened last year, i can never own a WRX til im 25 or so... or unless i get some well paid off job.. but then it wouldnt be worth it... condolence to the families, hope they can find some type of comfort in this turmoilJamLab Performance

my thoughts go out to the family & friends of these kids.. they were too young.. and instead of talking about how inexperienced some kids are at driving.. you should be thinking about their family & friends too.. everyone makes mistakes.. some just cost people more than others. and a life is a huge loss.. honestly its sad to loose two young lives....but when are kids going to realize they aren't invincible. my junior year in high school i lost a really good friend because of another friends action getting behind the wheel after drinking spirituz. im sick of hearing shit like this. parents need to fucking realize giving their kids a fast car for a first car is the wrong decision, no matter how mature they seem. my first car was a GST and now looking back, i was a fucking retard with that car. id go onto the highway and cut everyone off...do at least 110 all the time, just being stupid and wreckless. it took a friend to die to make me change my ways about how i drive. kids in high school should take a fieldtrip to the morgue to see what a dead body actually looks like after a fatal car crash, its not pretty. mortuary make up does wonders when covering everything up. maybe it would give them some insight on to stop being retarded. i feel really bad for the families and the friends of these two now having to go through such turmoil.....Money Ain't a Thing!
