I jailbroke/hacked my ps3 and i got hella games on it now,cant read back up's no lvl2 access but a bunch of old school games
more information here:
click jailbreak,
copy into usb thumb drive,update the ps3 as if it was saved from mass storage device wait a few seconds
bang it beeps 4 times after its been reflashed. reboot and you will see under games it says install package files..
some emulators / homebrew
some roms via utorrent
if you still need help send me a pm and ill coach you through it-

so this means in a few more weeks or days we will be able to run backups "legit games" from hdd inside the ps3 and be able to download and save them onto the ps3 via ftp server
