What Mike is saying is that we are adults and should have no problem being exposed to vulgar language. Even daytime television gets away with more language than this site! It's pointless honestly; who are you trying to attract with the censorship? Children with parent consent? Are you trying to improve the quality of my life by swaying me away from being vulgar? I do that all day at work, why do I need to do it on a social forum?

im not saying we have a problem being exposed to it, just that it isnt really necessary to have every other word a swear word. and yes i have seen posts that have been like that. personally i don't really mind the swearing and if it were up to me i woudlnt bleep them out, just ask that people would try not to do it TOO often, and keep it out of subject titles. but anyways, its not my call, its admins, and its an issue ive brought up to him already and he seems pretty set on keeping it as it is

Would be nice to have these problems fixed though. They are pointless somewhat. 6 pictures? Bleeping cuss words? We are all adults here am I correct? This is a social forums not a tech website for the dealers. Yeah I agree it might get out of hand like the b20 but I don't think it will really. i agree with you, i mean cutting down on the swearing and what i refer to in the guidelines as "stunna language" could only improve and make the site better. i know people are going to swear and use shortcuts to spell words and stuff once in a while but as long as its not getting out of hand i dont have a problem. like i said before i dont really agree with the bleeping out either but untill admin decides to change that which he hasnt, its just something we have to deal with

well.. for those that dont wanna see ********** everytime there is a swear, my other website had a feature that enabled each individual to turn off the censorship.. so its really censored to the outside ppl but when the members read it. its uncensored

that would be a great idea. if you dont like the censorship you can turn it off. aka user-defined.
