b18b wont start

  • b18b wont start

    ight guys as some of u no, i have a hatch wit a 94 b18b wit a b16 tranny and 97 civic harness.
    all the plugs for the harness are plugged in
    oil in the car
    lil fuel in the car
    no anti freeze
    no belt on the alternator
    grounds r on. tranny one and the vavle cover one

    give me some ideas y it wouldnt start
    when i first turned the key it sounded like the starter tryed to turn n it made a big pop sound then i turned it again and nothing.
    im guessing...
    battery plugs arent tighten enough
    grounds are in the wrong place
    starters bad????
    fuses blown
    idk, let me no what u guys think, and thnk u

    if it back fried. my guess is your timing is off. But make sure you have the ground by the thermostat housing on otherwise thats your problem.

            if it's turning over then your starter is good. If you have a ground on your tranny and head then thats fine. Check to make sure your ecu fuse is good. And make sure you have your ecu plugged in lol

              yea that was the first thing i did, like i said once i turned the key it quicky made a lound noise then i turned it again and nothing. im not there now, i will 2 go back on thrusday, but thnks for the ideas so far, ill keep u guys posted

                check the timing. But i bet your timing is off. or your firing order is wrong.

                      it def wasnt the motor, it sounded like the starter trying to kick over, but it wasnt gettin juice or sutin

                        we spend like 30 mins on the timing makeing sure it matched up top and bottom, we even had a diagram on it lol

                            well check your firing order. if it's good check for spark and fuel and go from there.
