Does anyone know the website were you can look up the vin number or the numbers on the block to see if it has been stolen? If anyone knows i say a mod or admin should post it as a sticky just my .02 cents

No such thing. The only way is calling the police and asking them if they could scan the number for you.

the only way i know is to do a carfax and run the vin that way but its probably not worth doing since it cost like 30 dollars and to run one vin not worth it

I don't. Probably was someone talking bullshit... I think, I'm not sure but I think if you have a really good friend working in a car dealer he could give you the car fax for free because I think they paid the year subscription to get unlimited reports.

Not in my case. My car still impound for like 2 months already and I had that motor for 3 years. Just didn't know it was stolen till the cops stop me. Yeah I bought it in Bridgeport 3 years ago.
