Well hello there fellow honda enthusiasts. I was redirected by Honda-Tech and the user B16eg6 to this site in search of help with a competition I am participating in. But instead of just jumping on and posting a link and saying CLICK, i'd like to introduce myself.
Who I am:
My name is Ravi, I have been working with honda/acura makes since roughly 2001 at the local Arizona Dealerships in both parts and service. I have owned I believe 8 hondas to date now. Love em to death. Recently went down the skyline / rotary path and that was fun, but I again find myself owning a Honda yet again!
What I do:
I am an avid track fiend. I love racing and everything that involves racing. My RX7 was a track prepped chassis and I HAD been driving it on the track since mid 2008. Loved the car to death. Long story short, It got hit while on the way to a track event, nearly took my life, and only recently have I got back on the track in my new car.
I participate with NASA in HPDE 4 / instruction / and time attack. I am building my new car for Modified Time Attack in a street class and due to the fact that I did lose out my ass on the RX7 loss, I cannot yet afford suspension for my new car. I of course can save up and probably afford it by next summer which is fine and dandy, HOWEVER. I am currently enrolled in a competition by VIVID racing for a set of FREE kw V3 coilovers. And I am actually in the lead and / or fighting for the lead.
What I am asking:
All I need is a click from anyone. No one needs to register or any crap like that, just 10 seconds of your time to click a link, click the yellow "VOTE HERE" box, select 1-5 stars if you like my car, and then click "VOTE NOW". Very simple.
B16eg6 said you guys would not be all 'OMG NOOB ASKING FOR THINGS' on this site and I by no means wish too piss you guys off with a n00b post so if you feel this is inappropriate or unorthodox, a deletion will not bug me one bit!

And if anyone is wondering, no the accident was not one I walked away from quickly and I thank my lucky stars I am alive. I was revived on the way to the hospital, suffered from severe lacerations and a broken face. The whole matter is still caught up in legal BS (happened last thanksgiving). 55k in medical bills yay! lol
I do like the layout of this site and will see if there is anything I can participate on to help out!
