hmmm i know for eg's honda made it so you just cut out the mesh on the bumped and it has 3 tabs where you screw the fogs on together

they have a print out diagrams that you lay over your fender n cut out.

you should cut the holes out for them before you paint the car.

print a pic of where it goes then put blue tape and get a big drill and ur good just cant put alot of pressure seen greg do it didnt look hard but im even scared to try it myself
