damn .. i just got my letter of acceptance to porter and chester like a week ago.. now u guys making me rethink the ************ seriously.

its all personal preference, if you want to go to school and get some knowledge because you dont know enough to work in a shop and you dont just wanna change brakes and do oil changes for the first 2 years then go to school and learn something. i went to a tech school for 1 year learned the basics to bodywork/paint and then went to work for a shop and now im painting full cars after 2 years in this trade including school :D and if you think painting cars is easy go pick up a gun and spray away tell me how it comes out:rolleyes:

you're right, its something ive come to realize over the last year, but wish i thought of before i spent 24k on a tech school.

i have a good job, and i make a lot of money, but i wish i had went about training differently.

i didnt learn ************ at trade school, and if i went to college, i would have at least gotten a degree instead of a ************ty certificate that has no value in the world.

Never too late to go back to school and get a degree...there are various options to take towards it.

im going to be taking part time classes this fall.

im have way to many responsibilities to go to school full time.

im not 18 and living at home anymore.

but i do plan on staying with the company im with now, just moving up the ranks, and my school did get me in the door at this job, so i guess thats one good thing.
