name the best japanese motor weather it be a b16 or a 4g63 or my personal favorite the sr20vet

its simple u name the motor and the reason why for example

because something as simple as changing the ve pistons and dropping the sr20det pistons and rods and crank and boost it and u would be at 400+ with a good tune and few supporting mods and plus vvl shits on vtec way more advance for the time. most vtecs except for the gsr's vtex i believe only have vtec on the intake cam unlike the sr20ve which has varieble valve lift on both intake and exaust cam, somthing that even most k20s seem to lack

Well just to comment on your lack of vtec knowledge. Any type of singlecam engine honda makes with vtec including thr v6's have vtec only on the intake side. Now all b series vtec engines b16a,b16b,b18c, etc have vtec on the intake and exhaust sides. Now for k series if you gedt the econo ones from an accord or any other pure family car its only on the intake side. This goes for the ep3 si too it has vtec on the intake. Now rsx-s, new civic si,and tsx all have vtec on the intake and exhaust side. Just a liittle vtec info for u

i bought my motor from royal in queens.. i drove that motor hard, drove to north carolina and back for yea never broke down on me never turned off. never leak oil, burned oil.. i regret getting rid of her

i loved my d15b single vtec....... i best motor in the world for reliablilty.. shit i went a whole year with an oil change just to have a excuse to do a swap.

than i took good care of her ever since i change up....

well we aren't really talking about reliability it's more of a best and most powerful I would hope a honda motor is reliable if they aren't I doubt they would sell much
