Need help buying a soundsystem

Hi I just bought an '01 accord that I got for a great price so I have plenty of money left over to do what I wish with it. Problem is that I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to amps/subs and I want to buy a nice pair for my car. I listen to mostly rap/hip hop and I want a powerful system. Id like to keep it under $600. Between amps, ohms and watts i'm lost, can anyone make some recommendations? thanks a bunch,

go to rockfordfosgate.com they have wiring diagrams that will show u how to wire your speakers ..u can put in that u want 2 4ohm dual voice coil subs and it will show u pics and show u how to wire it and what the ohm would be with 2 connected together..hope this helps,,any questions just ask...and yes u can find good subs and a good amp to push the subs for under 600 all day..look into the power series rockford amps..they put out alot of power and u will be happy..i have 3 of them and would stay with them for ever..i just need a idea of how much power and how many speakers in total u want to recommend u the proper amp for your needs..let me know

see^^ every1 has their differences..i personally dont mind memphis but i prefer the rockford power series,just my choice..other people like JL audio but the higher class products which i love but its over priced like crazy..there are tons of different brands,cheap priced 1's but crappy 1's out there also..awdream stated a pioneer radio,pioneer radios are great overal(highs,mids,bass,etc) they have a great equalizer(sound adjuster) ,i currently own a pionner radio but there is 1 specific kenwood radio that will shit on any pionner radio out there no matter how pretty the piooner looks and sound but then again people seem to think that kenwood is gay..i only like that specific kenwood radio,nothing else so i guess they are partialy gay,lmfao

i hear u..i bought a t10001 rockford power series amp brand new for 200 which was a steal..it puts out 1600rms and i have the birthsheet to prove it..its 0 gauge so u kno its a beast..so she can buy a similar amp and 2 rockford t1's or 2 kicker l7's and be all set with her bass..but then again it might be 2 much for her..i have 3 rockford power series amps,,a t10001(bass),t8002 for 4 ev's(midrange),t3002(for door speakers but this little 1 is a beast by itself so imagine)..
