Lincoln Tech

I'm think of going to Lincoln tech to grab my certs and learn alittle more while I got the time to do it.. I'd be going for autobody but I'm wondering if anyone has gone for anything and how they felt about the school.

good school i go there for automotive.but going to school would get u your certs you will ve to take ASE exams on your own for that

Yeah I been working as a mechanic for a couple years and my father taught me alot of body work shit. So I wanna continue learning more of it before I go for my iCar and other certs and shit. Body men typically aren't ASE but iCar certified. Unless they go and take the ASE too (which is mechanical related)

yes i went there and dropped out, it was formerly named baron but once lincoln took over half the great teachers that were there left n left us w/ couple lazy ass backyard mechanics as so called instructors n all they did was sit n let us work on our cars w/ no learning, i recomend sum other school, i just dropped out couple months ago F#@K that it was a great waste of time n money now i owe 10k!!

Wow really? Even the autobody teachers? Any knowledge of porter and Chester? I've read it isn't as good of a school but I'd like to hear first hand experiences

not true lincoln tech was formerly known as new england technical institute...baran institute is still open with the same name also baran is a lot better

i go to lincoln tech. wich use to be called barans like 4months ago but now its lincoln tech. its in east windsor. idk anything about porter n chester tho.

idk what part is not true! baran is no longer an institute, once lincoln took over the name baran was dropped down and once the left over of baran students left in there remaining they can still get a diploma from "baran", now porter chester has a repairing license so you go n have real car with real situations, in lincoln or baran (watever u want to call it now) go by teaching the nesesary ASE requirements, like the right way to do it n all that extra useless info u need to kno, but id say go to both n ask for a tour n all that shit
