    I lost the key to my beater which is a 96 mazda. can i bring my reg. to the dealer and will they make me another key? or would i have to get a locksmith to do it for me? need to know asap!

    go to karpillows in bridgeport.they will make you a key for $35-$40 but u need to bring the door or ignition switch..

        then look into the yellow pages for a locksmith but the rest of them charge a arm and a leg..g/l

          Pretty sure just bring ur reg to the dealer with vin number and they'll make you a new one..

              na age is nothing alot of the key blanks are the same..i cut KEYS for the that have car buil in the 80 still cutting keys for them

                if your key is chipped then you will need to tow your car to the dealer because they will have to program the key with the car present, if you do not have a chipped key then your straight, just bring your vin and they will cut you a new key.

                  I Would Try A Locksmith. Last Time I Tryed The Dealer The Copyss Didn't Work Because The Doorlock Was Worn Dowb And Key Was 2 New. Locksmith Did The Job. Especially Cuz Your Car Us Old.

                        i had a key made for an older a6..theres a lock smith down the street from bally's fitness in west hrtfrd..he charged me 20 bucks..i just had to remove the door switch
