So I took my gf out to eat this morning after workin 2-10 am, left breakfest was driving home... I was pulled over a by a Cannan state cop, ( im from torrington and was in torrington when pulled over ) cops in my town don't care about loud exhausts yet he comes through are town and whack's me for it... So he takes my license and registration.. Comes back to my car 5 minutes later and sticks his hand into my car, ok wtf are you doing? He takes his finger and runs it across the handle of my door, comes out with spec's of weed on his finger... Next thing i know im yanked out the car, slammed on the hood, he took my fone, threw it, stomped on it, searched my gf when its against the law for him to search her, handcuffs me puts me in his car... Completly tear's my car apart to find nothing, ripped up a picture of my gf i had on my dash. Broke part of my car on the inside, comes gets me out of his car, gives me a warning and lets me go... What im thinking, is he let me off with a warning cause he knew he was in the wrong and had no rite doing what he did to me, worth it to sue em? Was in middle of a intersection, i have enough witness's.. And if he followed the law, his video would be on in his cruiser, so it would all be on video tape. Im pissed, idk what to do any idea's?

kinda stuck dude, it'd be your word vs. an fin state cop, I got money on the cop, even though he was 100% in the wrong (other then having an illegal exhaust) i think the money and time you'd waste going through court and what not would be more then what you'd walk away with in the end. it's frustrating, I know, I got pulled over on my cell phone by a cop on his cell phone, tried to go to court and ended up pleading guilty just to get the shit overwith. you gotta remember cops are above the law.

get paid ya girl can point him out all they can do is search her purse not her and i would say that i was pulled over not given a reason why was pulled out hand cuffed threw in his car tell ya girl to say her searched her slow and she felt violated and that he searched my car didnt find anything and let me go show the damage he did to the car and take his ass to court u could win a settlement after a lil while of going to court get a good lawer thats willing to take the case and not one from around their cause they all know eachother g/l with this man but FUK COPS GET PAID YA GIRL COULD GET MONEY TOO

Ya its all bullshit fuck pigs. My word vs. his Id lose of course, but cops its mandatory have a camera rolling in there cruiser =) all on video tape.. If I got a lawyer all they'd have to say is show video, if they can't come up with a video they know there hiding something. Cops piss me off thinkin they can throw you around cause there a cop.. Fuck that shit, and noone's feelin up my girl but me, fucker walked on my cell fone too.

the first thing you need to do is go to the police barracs and talk to his supervisor, and explain to him everything you just said here, and fill out the paperwork, then you can decide if you can sue or not........because 99% of lawsuits against police departments get thrown out because people don't file a complaint withinn 24hrs........this is from experience that I am telling you........but I woudln't metion the fact that he got weed residue....
