  • Best Way to Garage Car?

So this is my first year fully putting a car away for winter.. its in like a side garage not fully covered but mostly .. its also on rock so these are the steps ive taken so far.. just looking for anything else i should or shouldnt do any input appreciated..

First bought 3/4" thick pressure treated ply wood to put over rock to protect undercarriage.

filled tires up a little more than normal since its sitting..

full wash and wax with a car cover..

full interior clean so no mold or anything happens

full tank of gas with fuel stabilizer

steel wool in muffler so no mice can get in there..

taking battery out and going to put in plastic case in garage and charge every week or so.

so far thats what ive done anything other info appreciated...

aslo i was thinking about taking my coilovers off and putting stock suspension back on while it sits? good idea im thinking.

This is where she sleep for reference :

i was thinking bout that but its on ply wood on rocks and kinda rocky even tho its pretty thick wood.. and i took my rotas off and put si's back so dont really care bout those wheels.. more of the suspension thats why i might put stock back on ..

buy some synthetic fox piss so the mice don't make nest in your engine bay.

I would say, get a tarp and cover the opening of that garage. But then again, you lose visibility of your car at night.. But, it looks like you did a good job so far putting it away.. And the jack stand idea works great, I have done that for the past two years and helps relieve stress from sitting all winter long. And it made my car look serious on jack stands haha. But I noticed you have gravel in that little garage, so yo might have to use plywood if you do the whole jack stand thing. But then again, it might tip your car over and then thats a problem lol.

I already have 3/4 in thick pressure treated ply wood under hte car.. didnt want moisture under there to ruin my under carriage so i took care of that.. and im half n half on covering the front..
