i heard bad things about them too thats why i stay with whatever stock oem pulley it comes with. like aem and every other aftermarket one is junk and will make u spin a bearing because there lighter than stock so its moving to fast and will spin a bearing or rod bearing or something like that. i had aem pulleys and sold them i like my motors to much to fuk them up

you might wanna change your bearings. could fuck em up from oil starvation and spin 1 in a week or 2.

I agree not to use aftermarket Pulleys, but this looks like a Authentic CTR N1 pulley, which my Buddies & I have used & never had problems like that. ??????

You most likely overtightened the crank bolt & damaged the Oil pump Rotor.

CTR,AEM,Unorthadox etc are no good. Type R engines are balanced to a higher degree than their non R brethren. If you want to remove weight on an unbalanced engine, remove it from the clutch side not the pulley side. If you have an unbalanced engine make sure that you keep a stock weight pulley.

ATI Super Damper is the only aftermarket pulley that works "is not any lighter then stock thats not the purpose" but u have to have a machine shop balance ur crank, fly wheel, pulley together and it lets u use a t1 crank trigger for tuning.

other then that i always tell guys USE UR STOCK CRANK pulley if u get a lighter fly wheel dont go below 12lb.. if u want anything else go to a machine shop and balance all that sh8t it will save u dividends at the end. gl chagy i dont think u hurt anything

Well dint get to work on her today cuz is poring out. Shit sucks I was all ready for the track had my slicks and my tools car was all tuned up n all full tank and this happens. Ima make sure I invest in an oil pressure gauge 2 once I fix her up. But naw I don't think I did any damages internally it ain't knockin but I'm still gonna check them bearings hopefully they look good.
