what motor oil do you use ?????

just wondering what other people use in there cars and what your opinion is of the product . i just started using royal purple with matching filter my car definitely runs alot smoother and temperature is the same but im not really happy with the price i was thinking if im going to spend the money i should get AMSOIL. i hear the wear protection for royal purple is good but the life is very short around 3000 miles with regular daily use.
