it's mad easy. download the jailbreak program (redsnow is what i use), download the right firmware for what you're using.

open the jailbreak program, browse for the firmware, then follow instructions about turning the phone off then back on into dfu mode (power and home buttons being held). there's step by step youtube videos. takes about 10 minutes.

Its easy to jail break it... go on google theres 100s of places that tell you how to do it
