I got pulled over and got a muffler ticket 5 days ago. Well 5 days later im pulled over again. I was following my girlfreind makin sure she got home ok, but i can only follow her so far because all our neighboring towns are worse than the town I live in. So i follow her as far as i can go and and then about 1 min later the red and blue lights are on
Cop: license registration, where were u comin from?
Me: I was makin sure my girlfreind got home ok caus its late and her car tends to break down
cop: THAT WAS HER IN FRONT OF YOU?
Me: No, I cant bring my car into newtown because i always get pulled over
Cop: well the reason i pulled u over was u were followin that car to close.
Me: Its ok officer, i get pulled over all the time, ( i then showed him my muffler warning i received 5 days ago) "officer it just sucks always gettin pulled over all the time just for my car. I know it stands out but I like having a nice car and i figure as long as im not doing anything wrong i wont be hassled"
Cop: I dont think ur car stands out... what makes it stand out?
Me. Well i have a whole TYpe R kit on my car plus my muffler. and i know my muffler is loud but I figure if im obeying the law that i wont get in trouble for it"
Cop: have u been racing?
Me: im to old for that
we then talked about how im a criminal justice major at school. and i told him if he knew the leuitenant of our police department because he was in our class today. but this guy was a state trooper. he then goes and does my information and comes back
Cop: have u been pulled over recently
Me: ya like 5 days ago for that muffler
Cop: no before
Me: I dont think so, have I?
Cop : you tell me...
Me: well it must be on ur computer or you wouldnt be askin me, so tell me if i have caus i honestly dont remember?
Cop:You know im only giving u a verbal warning
Me: i know officer and i appreciate it alot, and i have been honest with you.
Cop: someone ran ur plates on january 5th.
Me: doesnt surprise me
Cop: ok well dont follow to close and get ur muffler taken care of
Me: thanks officer u da man...
