ok well im getting my first car soon but the father wont let me get a manual so im getting auto and gunna buy a hooptie car to learn stick now i have a 2000 Civic Ex for 6500 with around 80k on it but its auto........do any of you know any places that do Auto to Manual and how much? Cuz im gunna have to drive auto for a year =/ it SUCKS Thanks :cool:

That sucks what your pops is putting on you. I might know a few people but they might want you to get the parts or most of em'.

yeah its sucks but its w/e cuz hes paying for it you know? but yeah im def down to drive it for a while and just work on the appearance and then go on with even a swap :D

Dont be pissed that your dad is making you drive auto if hes GIVING you a car.

In my opinion, if you were smart you wouldnt put a PENNY into the car and drive it as is. Get a job, save your pennies, and after a year, sell the car.

Put all your money together and buy the car you want.

Its the truth. If it were up to me, and i had to do it all over again i could be riding in a 4th gen supra right now.

Everyone, take one second and breifly tally up every penny youve put into your car. THen think, what could i do with all that money?

Chance are most of us could be riding around in some sick whips. :rolleyes:

Now, i learned a unbeilivable amount from taking apart every sqaure inch of my car, but still, dont spend money on a car that isnt what you dream of.

you have a point but you need to look at the other side of it, you drive a beater around for a few years to save up for something nice, while other people were having fun [;aying with thier cars the whole time youre saving. its a trade off really.
