Got an interesting creation for sale. I don't really want to get rid of it but I'm expanding my business and selling a few things so I hate to see it not get used.
I bought a parts bike last week for $400 and changed over the engine and harness. The bike was an 89 as well so everything is the same. All the hard work has been done though as far as the conversion from a bike to quad. It just needs finishing touches to get going again. (Clutch cable, throttle cable, etc)
It has Vance and Hines exhaust brand new tires the engine that was put in only had 12k miles. It has a billet adjustable cam tensioner, rebuilt carbs, jet kit and a K&N filter. This is a beast I've only had it to around 100 but I've been told it will do 120MPH.
Everywhere I go with this thing I get offers to buy it. So I know once its running again and all finished it's easily worth $2k to the right person who understand the work that went into this. It literally needs a Saturday afternoon to get going again.
It comes with an extra motor and TONS of spare parts.
I want $1000 out of it. Basically getting my money back since I spent $500 in parts last week. Just painted all the plastics a very nice metallic blue. I'm not going to take $500 it's too unique I'll just keep it and finish it when I find the time before I give it away.
