  • Needs j swap info please!!!

    On a EH3 with a j32a2 swap is there a way to get your hood to close without cutting your hood. I seen alot a videos on youtube and pictures on google with that swap and ppl had there hood close. Idk if i do a hood tilt will that work or not. I need help please

      Now i read the thread lol. There are mounts that let the motor sit lower but it will be risky cuz its so close to the ground. Thats why people cut the hood for clearance. Id rather risk a spare hood instead of fucking up your motor or oil pan.

        Thanks eghatch92 that true. Do you or anybody up here know is it better to go with hasport or innovative mount for that swap also

            you have to run a acord intake or a odyssey intake low rise one and you need to shit the motor to site lower in the car and trim the web out of the hood.

                How would the ground clearance be. Will it be more than 2inches cuz i dont wanna crack my oil pan.

                  Best bet is to cut the hood and make some kind of custom raise in the hood to cover the motor. Because it'll sit really low to the ground if you get the mounts that make it sit lower.

                    Cut the hood unless u wanna be stock height wit your motor close to the ground... I miss my jswapped civic

                      normal height mounts u need to cut the skelton of the hood and get a new 09+ j manifold and put spacers in the back of the hood. then it will shut.


                      or just get the drop mounts and it will close. problem with that is ground clearence isnt very good for the pan

                        Ct tibby does it make a differents on what 09+ j series engine i get the manifold from and can i still use a throttle by wire throttle body on it

                          you have to get the p2r adapter plate to run the j32a2 tb on the newer intake manifold

                          look below this is the mani with the adapter on it
