  • ls block with girdle or without?

So my da has been sitting long enough so with that said with in the next couple months I'm gonna be buying everything for a full build from rods&pistons, to a complete valvetrain set up basically the only thing I'm not doing is resleeving it. Now the main question do I have to get a girdle via aftermarket or OEM or will I be OK. I'm aiming for anywhere between 3-350.

Just slap on a oem one you'll be fine. It's not necessary but it's a good peace of mind

you would need the crank caps from a gsr the girdle the caps bolts cause a few are longer, a gsr oilpan windage tray and oil pickup for it all to work

I know what I need to get to install it just wasn't sure if it was necessary to run it. Don't want to spend the money if I don't have too. Wit a .50 trim or a .57 trim what kind of psi am I looking to run to hit those numbers (f.y.I I know wit the diferent size turbos psi could make different power) if that makes sense lol

No girdle needed for what your doing. But you should consider some type of cylinder protection since even a little detonation at 350whp can crack a sleeve.
Check out www.cylindersupportsystem.com. Cheap protection??? Building it twice will always cost way more then doing a little extra up front.

Blockguards cause more problems than they help. Your better off burning the money to stay warm than using a block guard. The CSS process is not a blockguard.
