k20 block k24 head??

Got a z1 block mint witha k24 head wondering if anyone had ideas on this bulid n wat to do to make it run

Wat kind of k24 head.... If its anything other than a k24a2 head its pointless.... Just get a k20a2 head ... Do the job once and you will be happy

theres a reason why you havent seen this setup yet, the k24 head doesnt have the good flow that a k20 does, plus i believe the k24 heads cross over is like a single cam vtec only hits on intake side. but i could be wrong

Mad people in here spreading misinformation. Take from someone who has a k series - nothing wrong with an 24a2 head on a 2 liter block. It's practically the same as the 2 liter Ivtec heads. The 06 and up have the most aggressive oem intake cams and 1mm oversize intake valves. Just meed swap a 50 degree vtc gear on it. Go to k20a.org and read there, these guys would have you trying to put a y7 on there.

K24a2 has vtec on both cam lobes . K24a1 on one cam lobe. I'm interested to see the out come of this. Usually its a k24 block and k20 head.
