Need help with a blox fuel pressure regulator

Ok i got a blox fpr and it tells me. To cut like a inch off my stock one but is there a way to take that metal cap off the stock one without damageing it so i don't have to cut it

i think they mean cut about an inch off the metal cap of the stock fpr.

what i did was use a dremel working my way around the metal cap evenly, just to cut the metal casing off it. then the new one gets clamped on to that.

Ok so it's ok to just take the hole cap off with a dremal I don't really have to just take a inch off it will still work perfect

i've done it on other cars, not hondas, but that's usually how you do it is by cutting the cap off the stock fpr and then bolting the aftermarket one onto it (the brackets bolt on to the seam where the two halves of the fpr top are connected)
