would i have to put after market springs and valves to be safe with 7-12psi?? or can i buy new oem? i have to buy one or the other so ? cause in my block i got acl race bearings and arp rod bolts and shotpined rod and aftermarkt piston rings wit a cosmtic head gasket, gsr water and oil pump and good fuel system and then a good tune iam lookin to get 250-300 whp

yea but if you gonna spend the money you might as well buy aftermarket well you got it all torn apart. You can run 7-12psi on a stock ls if you have the right tune. The tune is the main part of the buil. Hit up dave he'll hook you up. He's nasty.Money ain't a thing! Crew Member #1

PSI is irrelevant during a turbo build, so dont worry about how psi you are going to have. You want to be looking at the power levels, reason being is because whether you have 5psi or 15psi you can still hit you power goals depending on the turbo. Obviously you have to consider variables like lag, full boost rpm, your redline etc. With 250-300whp it is definitely not necessary to buy aftermarket valvetrain. If you want to then by all means do so, but I would recommend using that money else where (tune, fuel system, etc) for a basic build like this. Your engine will still be reliable whether or not it has the upgraded valvetrain, as stated above reliability comes with the tune.
